CONDITIONS WE TREAT
We treat a full range of injuries using a variety of techniques and equipment.
Here are a few of the common conditions we treat. If you don’t see the injury you have, or have not yet been diagnosed, come in for a new patient appointment or give us a call and we’ll make sure you are on the best track for better health.
Sciatica: Lower back and leg pain caused by pressure on nerves in the lower back
Whiplash: A variety of symptoms including neck pain as a result of abrupt forward or backward head movement. Motor Vehicle accidents often cause whiplash
Migraines: moderate to severe pulsating headaches
Neck and Shoulder pain: Pain in the neck and shoulder regions caused either suddenly or accumulated over time
Rotator cuff injuries: Injury to the muscle and tendon groups surrounding the shoulder joint
Plantar Fasciitis: Foot pain- Heel or bottom of the foot
Sprain: Also known as torn ligaments
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Results in a variety of symptoms including numbness and tingling of arms and hands. The median nerve being pinched or squeezed causes CTS.
TMJ Disorders: Otherwise known as Temporomandibular joint disorders, often result in jaw pain.
IT Band Syndrome: Inflammation of the Iliotibial band causing pain. The IT band runs from the outside of the thigh from hip to shin.
Nerve Entrapment: Pain caused by pinched nerves
Shin Splints: Pain along the shinbone (Tibia)
Runner’s Knee: Knee joint pain commonly caused by overuse
Knee injuries: We treat a variety of different knee injuries
Tendonitis: Tendon inflammation
Tennis Elbow: As a result of overuse, the outer region of the elbow becomes sore and tender
Frozen Shoulder: Stiffness or soreness of the shoulder joint, also known as adhesive capsulitis
Groin injuries: Usually involves tearing of one of the adductor muscles, causing inner-thigh pain
Back and hip pain: We treat a variety of different back and hip pains
Piriformis: Irritation of the sciatic nerve, causing sciatic pain
